Fullstack Engineer where I work on Axon’s Device Evidence Management System (DEMS). My focus is on scaling and optimizing search performance for one of the world’s largest public safety data repositories—managing a collection of data that rivals the scale of Netflix and YouTube combined. I spend most of my time deep in Apache Solr, ensuring that critical evidence is searchable and performant at a massive scale. Previously, I helped build out Axon’s Community Request platform.

As a Technical Account Manager at Qualtrics, I sat at the intersection of product strategy and technical implementation. While I consulted for public and private sector clients on their employee listening programs, I found my niche in internal tool development. I led the creation of custom scripts and tools designed to automate and streamline internal workflows, significantly increasing team efficiency across the TAM organization.

My journey began at the U.S. Consulate General in Shanghai, where I served as a Management Intern. That experience evolved into several years of contracting for the Department of State, culminating in my transition into software engineering. Most recently, I worked on a specialized cloud development project for the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC), where our team successfully architected and deployed the DECCS system, modernizing how the department handles defense trade data.
